Here is an overview of the Rainbow Preschool e.V. daily routine which gives children a feeling of stability:
7:30 am – 9:00 am
Arrival of children, welcome, open play
9:00 am – 11:00 am
The teachers prepare an individual curriculum for each child. They show the children how to work with the materials in the different areas of the classroom (math, language, sensory, lifestyle, culture). They work by themselves or in small groups. During this time, teachers provide the children with a snack. However, the snack does not replace a nutritious breakfast at home!
11 am – 11:30 am
The children sing songs, practice group performances and hear stories on current issues, events, seasons etc. Children have the opportunity to talk and exchange ideas.
11:30 am – 12 pm
The children say a special thank you dictum and then eat together. After the meal, the children help to clean up.
12 pm – 12:30 pm
